Even though Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that this transfer window was over for United, the latest reports suggest that might not be true. British ‘Sun’ reports that Manchester United have made bids for David Silva and Kun Aguero, with the combined fee of €70 million. David Silva would be a great addition to midfield, whereas Aguero is seen as the perfect replacement for Tevez.
It seems that Sir Alex has changed his mind and he is now set to spend €70 million on Primera based players. The Scottish manager reportedly offered Valencia €29 million for David Silva, while they asked Los Che to set the asking price. Silva is an enthusiastic winger, and he would help the team cope without Ronaldo.

United officials have offered Atletico Madrid even more money, €41 million for Sergio Aguero. Ferguson sees Aguero as the perfect replacement for Carlos Tevez and he had the opportunity to watch the diminutive forward in action recently at the Emirates Cup in London.
