It would have been a go ahead for Manchester United to get Phil Jones from Blackburn. After all Sir Alex Ferguson managed to outbid Arsenal and Liverpool for the player to move to Old Trafford. But then at the last minute, Blackburn decided that they don’t like Man Utd too much that the £16 million offered by Manchester United was not enough. They want £25 million now. So its back to the discussion table.

Its confirmed, Liverpool FC’s date with Malaysia is ON! And that will be on the 16 July 2011 while the training session will be 14 July. The club confirmed that most of the senior players will be heading towards Bukit Jalil Stadium although you might have to miss Luis Suarez, Lucas Leiva and Maxi Rodriguez as they might be involved with Copa America throughout July. Sigh… what a shame..

It seems almost inevitable that Guus Hiddink the national coach of the Turkey national team will be leaving and heading out to the cash rich Chelsea Football Club to take over the helm from Carlo Ancelotti. Hiddink has been the top choice for Roman Abramovich after the ‘failure’ of Ancelotti for bringing Chelsea to finish second last season with no trophies to show.
