Champions League Winners
Manchester United believe they have the advantage, albeit a psychological one against bitter rivals Chelsea FC when they meet in Moscow for the UEFA Champions League final come Wednesday. Who else would know better if not for Man Utd who had previously lost a final to Chelsea, the FA Cup. In around the same time last year, Man Utd won the league and would have been heading for a domestic double before Chelsea came about to spoil the party with 4 minutes of extra time to play. This time around, it would be more priceless, it is the European crown we are talking about here. While Didier Drogba scored the winner in the FA Cup final last year, this time, there would be more than one player looking to look for that goal. That bragging rights goal. From the Man Utd camp, they have all gotten over that disappointment and after a year of living in the shadows of losing finalists, they can now look forward to equal the score. Both teams are most likely to be defensive from the go and few goals might be expected. It is most likely that the team who scores the early goal might just win the tie, but football is a funny game.

On paper, Man Utd appears to be the favourites, where they have scored 109 goals in all games this season, Chelsea has a far inferior record. Bear in mind that while Chelsea has the lethal Drogba in their line up, Man Utd has the league's top scorer in Cristiano Ronaldo who has 41 goals to his name. out of the 80 league goals, 57 of them are scored by Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez.

To say the least, only Chelsea 's midfielder Frank Lampard come close to that record, scoring 19 goals this season while Didier Drogba only managed 15 goals in all competitions.

In games like these, experience do count, Man Utd has Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes who won their last Champions League with Man Utd the last time around, while Chelsea has Michael Ballack and Andrei Schevchenko both of whom have played in even bigger tournaments than this. Whatever the tactic, whatever is said or done, the European champions will be crowned tomorrow. This is Man Utd vs Chelsea part II. Hang on to your seats, everyone!
