Drogba will stay in Chelsea Despite numerous links and speculations that Didier Drogba might be leaving Chelsea, the Ivory Coast striker has laid all to rest when he claims that he will see out at least another 2 years of his contract. The summer has since linked Drogba to a few clubs including Barcelona, Inter Milan and his favourite destination AC Milan.
But he has now said that he will see out his contract at Stamford Bridge and that he is going nowhere. The 30 year old said “I have always said that I am very happy at Chelsea. It's a great team with great players and a great coach. Everything's going well here and I have two years left on my contract and I will spend them at Chelsea."
Some time after Jose Mourinho left Chelsea, Drogba was reported to have said "I want to leave Chelsea. Something is broken with Chelsea. Nothing can stop me from leaving now." but retracted his statements and regretted for saying them.
