Chelsea will be hoping for a clicking partnership between Didier Drogba and new signing Nicola Anelka come Sunday when the Blues will be meeting Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup Final. Drogba, who has scored four goals in cup finals for Chelsea, is expected to be playing alongside the French and has said that "I want to score in the final again, I have scored in all finals Chelsea have played so far. I am a big-game player and I have scored against the big three in finals. I want to do it against the team who is close to the big four (Tottenham). It will be a great final.". Drogba, whose personal record include scoring in the finals and winning them against Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool will be seeking his fourth scalp this time around. Having said that, Spurs too have their own weapon in Berbatov who is well respected and very much feared by most defenders in the league. Drogba, who is well aware of that would relish the chance to play against him in the finals. But it would be partnership with Anelka that he will love most this time around for an occasion like that, most would expect a great game and definitely one that is not short of action between two top London clubs and 2 top strikers. "He (Anelka) is a top player, I speak French like him and I think we can play together. If we click as we all expect, we will be very dangerous for the remaining of the season.” Said the Ivory Coast striker.
