Despite losing the London derby to bitter rivals Chelsea over the weekend, Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger claims that he is not shifting his mind over to the Champions League. The defeat means that the Gunners now drop to third spot after Didier Drogba’s late goal clinch an infamous win for the Blues.

Arsenal is now 6 points behind current table leaders Manchester United. With only 7 games left to go, they will have to play Liverpool in the quarter finals of the Champions League before going for a league game between the second leg to be played in Anfield. Should they win the tie, they will play the winner of the other quarter final Fenerbance versus Chelsea, of which the latter will most likely win.

A heavy month is looming for the Gunners and Wenger, is still refusing to give up his title hope yet, what with leading the table for almost 2 third of the season. "We want to do well in the Premier League and not dream about the Champions League. We have to fight back. It is five games now since we have won and we want to come back to winning ways. It is very hard to swallow, the way we gave away a good position at Chelsea after fighting so hard, We have to become more efficient defensively because if you look at the goals we have given away recently they have been inefficient."
