Emmanuel Adebayor
From the valuation’s point of view, Emmanuel Adebayor definitely do not cost as much as Arsenal tags him. This according to AC Milan which earlier reported that Adebayor remains as the sole target of the Italian giants. They have since pulled out of trying to get Adebayor to give up his place in Arsenal to ply his trade in San Siro next season. According to Adriano Galliani, the vice president of AC Milan, “The request for 45million euros (£35.8million) by Arsenal is an impossible request,' it was earlier reported that the Togo international is asking for an increase in wages and his agent who has told him not to be ‘greedy’ said that his player is a ‘humble kid from the street’.

Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal boss though would know that keeping an unhappy player will not do his team any good, what with the exodus of players leaving the London club recently.

Adebayor was transferred from Monaco almost 2 years ago at £7million and with the Italian giants more than willing to pay a huge sum for him, Arsenal is desperate to keep him at the club, unless a mountaineous bid comes through. And in saying that, it means £35.8million.

Apart from Milan, Barcelona is known to be keen with Joan Laporta, the president looking to sign Adebayor, joining the bandwagon. On the London side, Arsene Wenger, who over the summer has lost Hleb and Flamini will be looking towards trying to sign Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn and Obafemi Martins from Newcastle. While Martins have yet to talk about his next move, Santa Cruz was seen to be happy but the bid has since been turned down by new Blackburn boss Paul Ince, that is if Adebayor is sold.

Arsenal’s summer transfers have been very impressive, Aaron Ramsey has completed his move from Cardiff City while Samir Nasri from Marseille is more likely to follow.
