Gael Clichy, the Arsenal left-back is almost a Manchester City player after he was set to undergo medical on Monday. The £7million transfer has been one of the highlights of the summer which signified the willingness of the billionaires of City to beef up the squad while it also represents a big blow to Arsene Wenger’s plan of building a team.
Clichy was linked with a move away from The Emirates and it was Liverpool who came calling but it seems that Clichy will most likely be joining the big bucks of Manchester instead. He has played for more than 250 games with the Gunners being one of their more consistent players.
